January 7th, 2008 Omg, The Sims 2~ / Opera

After a while of not being able to play The Sims 2, I got it on my notebook again. =D It feels great to have the games on my computer once again, so nice~

I haven’t started a game with any characters yet, though. Having redownloaded all my old custom content off an unnamed source, I looked through it all and realized “It’s crap”. Well, not that it’s crap, more that I outgrew all the things I had download.

So starting from square two (not square one, because the wonderful Xelis gave me links to her favorite Sims 2 download places~ thank you Xelis~), I’ve been slowly looking through such lovely things as Skins and Eyes again.

I can’t wait to remake my alien, Taren, too. Since I seem to have never backed up whatever resources I downloaded to make her.

There’s a new expansion pack coming out, called Free Time I think it is. Anyway, it’s on the Sims 2 website. Just Google it, guys. You know how to do that.

When I’m a bit satisfied with the new custom content, I’ll start working on a challenge of sorts Xelis and Fuzzy are playing through. Expect a gallery with Sim screenshots soon.

Reminder to myself: Bllog about last Halloween and that week in December, you lazy old cow.

Edit: I’ve switched from Firefox to Opera as my primary web browser. For some reason, Firefox keeps freezing. Namely at ModtheSims2.com, when I perform searches for things. It also freezes at other big Sims forums.

And since I’m a downloadaholic now, I can’t have that. I love you Firefox, but I’ll use you as my main browser when Firefox 3 comes out. For now, I’m using Opera 9.

   SAFARI FOR THE WIN.
   Superior browser. Opera’s ok too. Firefox isn’t as good as it used to be.
